Author's Review

This TV is really nice with the one exception, for no special reason whatsoever, it turns itself off for either a few seconds up to a few minutes and you cannot turn it back on until IT wants to... Strange.
I got it new at Sears less than 2 months ago. Once it started happening, I read reviews of other people having issues with the TV after like 1200 or 1300 hours it would do something similar to this and saw there was a download to fix it, but it supposedly is not this exact model that has the problem. Something is wrong. It's like a car you bring to a mechanic though. It happens randomly and for no special reason, so it is hard to show someone. I have a thermometer above it and it is not overheating. anyone have any clue to why this could be happening, please let me know. Sears sent a repair guy who is going to order a part??? I figured Sony would have fixed this already seeing so many people (like 400,000) had this issue earlier. Please email me if you have any ideas on this at yah_mon@hotmail.com.
Thanks...
