Pros: Exceptionally clear mids, and highs. Extended bass response. VERY comfortable.
Cons: Expensive, Bass could be better for price range.
The Bottom Line: If you have extra cash, then buy them. You won't regret it. If you have to finance them to afford them, forget about it.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Let me first start off by saying that I am not the type of person that would normally pay $300 for a set of headphones. As it turned out I had a large store credit burning a hole in my pocket, so I ended up paying $269 for these babies at Ultimate...

Pros: High quality, great sound, variety of ear pieces, the cord.
Cons: Price.
The Bottom Line: You won't be disappointed with these ear buds if you can afford the steep price!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I once heard something on a commercial that really sticks in my mind: "You'll remember the quality long after forgetting about the price". Yes, I saved the $299 and it hurt spending it on these my Shure e4c's, but they're well worth it. I chose not...

Pros: Clarity is unreal, very sturdy, amazing sound, changeable tips
Cons: pricey, too long a cord,
The Bottom Line: I would definately recommend these earphones because they have amazing sound, are extremely comfortable, sturdy, have a good warranty, and are worth the price.

Review: I workout 5-6x a week and It's very important to me to have a good set of headphones to get my pumped up.

Pros: Excellent high and mid frequencies. Nice fit with many options.
Cons: Poor bass response. Weak wiring.
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend these to a friend unless I knew that they listened almost exclusively to light classical music.

Review: I bought a pair of Shure E4c's in 2005 for use mainly with my i-Pod. I was taking a trip to Japan that fall, and I wanted to have a quality pair of earphones for the long flight over and back. I already owned a pair of Shure E3c's, which I felt...

Pros: The smoothest response in the business. Easy to drive with nice case.
Cons: NONE
The Bottom Line: It doesn't get any better nor more accurate than this. Just get them....you won't be sorry.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: After going through exhaustive research and use of just about every top flight "In Ear Monitor" type of stereo headphone setup I tried one of the Shure E4C's as a last ditch effort before I literally gave up on hopes of finding the "holy grail" of...

Pros: Outstanding Clarity, Excellent Design
Cons: A little weak on bass
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The E4's are the best anywhere in terms of clarity and cannot be beat. You can try them all and I think they are right on top. The only weakness, improved bass over the E3's, but still needs a little work. Yes, you can set your equalizer and all...

Pros: Good fit in the ears. Sound OK, when it works. Long cord.
Cons: Worst quality I have every experienced with ANYTHING!! Sound goes easily. Pieces break off!
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I wrote a review about the E3c model, how they broke all the time; how I had to send them back to Shure 5 times for repair.
This final time, the 5th time I sent them back; Shure sent me an upgraded pair of E4cs. Garbage, just garbage. They... |

Review: i bought a pair of e4cs about 8 months ago-paid top dollar for it. in about 6 months, the insulation on the cable wore out, and at this point in time, i dont have sound in one ear. makes me wonder if paying this kinda money is worth it, despite the...

Pros: Great highs and midranges. Solid construction and appears it's built to last.
Cons: Poor bass response. Horrible thumping noise when you walk or run.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend staying away from these. Far too much money for too many problems.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: Ok, so I really tried to like these. The highs are exceptional and mids are not bad, but when it comes to bass, this is where the trouble starts. In the manual they state that you have to get a "good seal" with the ear canal to get a good bass...

Pros: If you've spent the money on a good Mp3 player, these are an awesome companion.
Cons: Pricey entrance fee
The Bottom Line: If you only needed one set of headphones these are them. Makes music come alive in your head.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I prefer in ear headphones as opposed to clunky over hear headphones for many reasons. As a commuter I like to block out the sounds of others and keep my sound in. I like to fall asleep sometimes as well without making the weight of my head any...
