Great Microwave

This is a great microwave oven. It is *not* a convection oven, however - that seems to be a retailer mislabeling problem. Unfortunately another reviewer gave the microwave low marks because of that problem.

This oven is powerful and consistent. With 1200 watts, it can cook items very quickly compared to most microwaves. It's also roomy - at 1.6 cubic feet it can fit large plates and dishes inside without stopping the rotation. The included glass turn table is nice and easy to clean.

There are plenty of program settings, and amazingly the "sensor reheat" and "popcorn sensor" and other automatic settings actually work well. The popcorn sensor allows cooking a bag of popcorn in just the perfect amount of time without having to hover around the microwave to stop it manually.

The "hidden" control panel is a nice touch. The controls are behind the door so what you seen on the front with the door closed is just the LCD panel and the Start/Stop control buttons.

My only problem with this microwave is that its interior bulb burned out in just over a year. It is not a user-replaceable bulb and I've never felt the need to actually send it in to be serviced. It's not a terrible problem, but without backlighting for the controls either, it can be hard to use the microwave in a dark kitchen.
