A high-quality flat screen TV

This is a great TV. Being a woman who doesn't care about sports, I was reluctant to spend the money on a flashy HD tv, but my husband prevailed. This TV is the best of what we looked at and is large enough to provide a great image without taking over your living room. One of the major factors we looked at was the refresh rate and the quality of the black color. Both are excellent. It also has the capability to have an HD cable feed so that any movies you watch look great.

We searched extensively on-line to find a good deal on this TV, since I was uncomfortable paying so much for one item. However, after reading many reviews and hearing horror stories about TVs not arriving for months after the order date, we decided to go the safe route and go to Best Buy. I found a coupon that offered 10% off and we searched on-line to make sure they had the exact model we wanted in stock. With this size, it easily fit into the trunk of our station wagon.

We chose to purchase some of the accessories we wanted at a less expensive retailer (Target) but felt better having bought the TV from a reputable store. You can also get an extended warranty, but we opted not to do that. The manufacturer's plan covers you for 2 years, so we figured that would be OK.
