"Rooby Dooby DOOOOOO!!!"

I always watched Scooby Doo, and still do till this day, and I was dying to see the movie when it came out. Well, it was just what I was hoping it would be. Scooby and Shaggy always eating and running away like cowards, and all the rest of the "gang" doing what they did in the cartoon.

We start the movie off and we see Scooby and the gang just finishing up on a mystery, they show the end of the mystery because they want to give you an idea of how the interact and incase you havnt seen the cartoon it gives you a pretty good idea of how these charictars act and talk, etc. Sadly, Fred, Velma, and Daphne get into a fight and break up leaving Shaggy and Scooby by thereselves. In that seen, after Fred and Velma and Daphne says "I quite!", they all leave and Scooby turns to Shaggy and says "Do I quite?". And he says it in such a sad tone and he has tears in his eyes, and I think its great that a charictar created by computers can make you care about them and feel sympothy for them, its really touching. That scene almost made me wanna cry.

2 years later, Mystery INC. is still broken up, but suddenly, each of the members get a strange invitation form a man named Ameal Mondevarious, inviting them to come solve a mystery at his theme park, Spooky Island. When they get there, they reunite and try to solve the mystery together. In this movie, as in the cartoon movie called "Scooby Doo on Zombie Island", the monsters are real, they also look really good as far as computer animation goes.

Shaggy is played by Mathew Lillard. Matthew does a great job in playing Shaggy, it also hard work pulling it off. He had to practice the voice for months before he could pull it off, but he did. He did a wonderful job and brought the charictar that I love the most to life. I give him 5 out of 5 stars. Next we come to Fred who is played by Freddie Prince Jr. He also does a great job as Fred. But i think that if you watch it, you can tell that the cartoon Fred isnt as goofy as the one that Freddie Prince plays. I give him 4 and a half stars out of 5. Then there is Daphne, played by Sarah Macheal Geller. She also does a great job, and she looks exacly like Daphne from the cartoon, and acts like her too. I give her 5 out of 5 stars. Last there is Linda Cardellini who plays Velma. I couldnt believe how good she did as Velma. She sounded and acted just like her! I give her 5 out of 5 stars.

Now we come to Scooby. He was wonderful. Not just the voice, that was really god to, but his movments, his face, his entire body. He showed emotion to, like I mentioned earlier. A really good computer animated charictar will make you feel for them, when their sad, happy, etc. This is the first computer animated charictar that makes you feel like that. Also, I want to point out Shaggy and Scooby's relationship together. They are best friends and in a scene, Shaggy is trying to get Scooby to forgive him for getting in a fight with him. He says "Who's your best Buddy" and Scooby says "Raggy" and Shaggy says "Thats Right, and whos my best buddy in the whole wide world" and Scooby says "Rooby Doo". Scooby says it in that sad/happy tone, he also had tears in his eyes. It made me wanna cry. The friendship that they have is so touching.

The music in this movie was really good, I have already reviewed the soundtrack. I really liked the opening song by Shaggy. Its called Shaggy, Where Are You". That was my favorite song in the movie. Then the score was really great and original. It was like John Williams was doing the music, hes a great music director who did Jaws, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, etc. But this director was almost better, maybe not that good, and he really knew what he was doing. I give the score 5 out of 5 stars. Final Thought About Music: I really think doing a score is difficult because you need the music to match the scene in the movie. When something sad is happening, you have to make the music sad with it, the music was so sad, it made me cry a little.

The story was a little, well how should I say this, weird. But the rest of the script was great. I also want you to know that there was a scene in Scooby Doo that they took out that would of made the movie rated PG-13 or R. If you look on the internet you will find it, its not in the deleted scenes on the DVD though. Besides that, great script and very funny too.

A few scene that will make you laugh are: A scene where Scooby and Shaggy are having a burp/fart contest. Usually, I get tired of those scenes, but this one was so well done that I laughed my head off. Another one is whereShaggy and Scooby are fighting and they are acting like they are boxing and calling eachother names. Its really funny.

Scooby Doo The Movie is everything you thoughtit would be. Funny, touching, and just great. What makes it especially good is the appearance by Rawn Atkinson, he was Mr. Bean. He is really funny, making the movie funny. So go see it, and if you like it then buy it so you can watch it over and over again, thats what I did.
