Fun on the Road!
Pros:
Fun, on the road! Racing at higher levels can be challenging!
Cons:
2D graphics, very few shortcuts, mediocre sound.
The Bottom Line:
Buy this if you already have a color. But I would say, buy a DS.

GamePlay
You could say, it's good. Rush 2049 features only 2 modes, Full Race, and Time Attack. In the Full Race mode, you start at level 1, doing as many laps as you selected, [3 default] and start a race! Races are only 2D, and you can't see very far ahead of you! You do go slightly slower than the "Drones" this means you have to hit little power ups. In the game, there are two kinds of power ups, The first is Turbo Boost. As you expected probably, this makes you go faster for a couple of seconds. The other is Traction. You pick one of these up, and you will have extremely good traction. [If you have purchased this game, don't say i'm lying! They start at level 2.] Then the time attack mode, lets you cruise around, and you try to get the best time. Rush 2049 Features password save.
Graphics
Whatever you do, don't believe the picture on the box!
The graphics in this game are strictly 2D. They are 2D because all that can fit on Color is mainly 2D. [The picture was taken from N64/Arcade version] The good thing is, is that there is good control, and no bugs. The fewest little things are: a rare time the screen goes black, and shut off. I would give the graphics a good score for the Color System, [8/10] but a bad overall score. [2.5/10]
Sound
Unforntunetly, most of the sound is engine. When you play SF RUSH 2049 Color, all you here is the engine, and a faint "Beep, Beep, Beep!" The only music played is when you pass a checkpoint. [And yes, there are checkpoints] The good part, is that there are VERY rarely, any sound problems. As an example; Fuzz noise, repeating, etc. I would give a fair score the the sound in terms of the Color System, [6.5/10] but a terrible overall. [1/10]
Control
"Slippery" but easy controls! Your control of the car is very "slippery." Slippery means: Often in the game loose control for a second or two, and might go crashing into walls. BUT! It's easy to use! There is no control delay, and you only need one hand! I give the easy part of control in terms of color, a GREAT score, [10/10] overall I give a good score. [8/10] And of course, the "slippery part is a bad thing. [Part may be extended!]
Goal [Quick]
The goal of the game, is to race, and beat cars. [Not waste cars]
Unlockable things
The only thing you can unlock are tracks. [8]
Terrain
The game is in a metro most of the time, and is flat.
in terms of Color means: Compared to a standard color game. [A standard color game would be 5/10]
