Very underrated laptop messenger bag
Date of Review: Jun 16, 2008
The Bottom Line: Great, affordable laptop bag with plenty of room and pockets.
I was looking for a sleek looking notebook messenger bag when I came across the Microsoft Edge 39000 at Walmart. I like the basic black style with all the hidden features that lie beneath the exterior. The bag is very attractive on the outside with a basic black color and orange trim interior. There is plenty of padding on the inside and the base is very rugged and durable looking.
It's conservative enough to carry to work but also stylish enough to hold your laptop for leisure activities. There are plenty of pockets to hold your keys, a mesh inner lining, plenty of disc holders, and a hidden zipped water bottle compartment on the outside. There's also an MP3 holder pocket and cell phone holder on the other side as well The strap on the outside, while adequate, is not as cushioned as I would like but I like the way it attaches to the bag. The best part, however, is the main compartment. It is roomy enough to hold up to a 17 inch laptop but also adjustable to hold smaller notebooks too. Plus, if you do have a smaller computer you can either remove the attached velcro divider or use it to separate your battery and power cord from the laptop.
