My FAVORITE potty chair for my son!
Pros:
Sturdy, works great, simple, easy to use, hand rails, empties easy.
Cons:
Splash guard tends to fall in at times.
The Bottom Line:
Well I have TWO and would definitely buy again if I were to have more children. I think this is one of the best out there.

Author's Review
These days it's really difficult to find a potty chair for toddler potty training. They have so many different potty chairs out there, some are just way too elaborate and many just do not have good reviews. Some, I notice, are overly fun that the child would play with the toilet rather than just go! I was looking for something semi-simple with a splash guard for boys. I have two on the toilet seats for him to use, but I also wanted to offer him his own chair, so he can decide which one is better to use.
I bought this at my local Fred Meyer store for around $18. It was a good deal compared to other potty chairs and I must say it is DIFFICULT to find. I can only find it at Fred Meyer. When I look online, I see Amazon sells it, too and for around $13 plus shipping. From the first time I brought it home, my son likes to use it. It has some good features on it that I like.
First off, it's easy to set up. There's really not much to do, except take it out of the box and then click in the side rails. The rails are great because my son will use it to lower and help himself off the potty chair. It's sturdy and has a pot inside with a handle so you can empty it quite easy. First, my son will go to the bathroom and then the child (or a parent) can easily flip up the toilet seat part and take out the pot with handle. My son will then dump it in the toilet and rinse it out and then just put it right back where it was. There is no way the pot can slide around inside the potty chair, it has a round grooved-in area so that it cannot slide around.
There is opportunity for splashing around the pot chamber area. The best I can say is put it in a shower or bathtub and wash out from time to time with some soap and water. I also wipe off the seat from time to time. The seat also has a lid like a regular toilet that flips up and down, which is nice. I prefer to "empty" the pot as soon as my son goes in order to keep it clean (or better yet, teach my son to do it).
The convenience of this potty chair is amazing. He likes to leave it or use it in many rooms. Sometimes if it takes him awhile to go, he likes to use it in the living room or outside the bathroom door and not just in the bathroom (so it's portable). I like to teach him to use it, first, then I'll move it in the bathroom, then we'll try moving the seat to the toilet and so on (it's just to get him comfortable with going).
Another feature the potty chair has is a splash guard for boys. It comes in handy for my son. It can get annoying because it will fall in sometimes and I have to wash it off often. But it's supposed to snap in and flip down when not in use (so you can close the top lid), and flip up when in use. Be careful when the boy is sitting down not to hurt himself and accidentally sit on it. I find it mostly comes in handy, but I can also teach him how to use the toilet without it. So it's just there for peace of mind. The potty chair is also super light weight and compact (less than 5 pounds). The other two features I have NOT used, but plan on trying later on. One feature, you can take the top of the potty chair off and set the seat part on a toilet seat, so the child can climb up and use it on top of there. The bottom part turns into a step stool. It has pieces you have to install on the bottom of the step stool that I have to keep either in the box, or in a plastic bag for when I decide to use as a step stool (which keeps the stool from sliding around).
Overall: Great potty and easy to use. I loved it so much and since we have 3 bathrooms and multi-levels, I went out and bought another one (one for upstairs and one for downstairs). The company recommends it for 18 months on up (my son is 3 and uses it daily).
