Author's Review

I love my Acella. I have used it both with the attached infant seat and without( now that my daughter is 2, she sits in it by herself. When I am out with my newborn, I use the infant seat in it. It still is not too heavy!) I am surprised at the lady who said her 25 lb child would not fit in it ... my 2 year old is large at 31 lb, and still fits nicely.

I bought this stroller because I had a safety first convenience stroller and really liked it, but needed a travel system. Also, I liked about this stroller that
- it is affordable!
- the seat was shallow. This allows my daughter to actually use the snack tray herself, even when she was itty bitty and not sitting really steady yet.
- it has a snack tray for both kiddie and parent. This is a must for me!! I have heard complaints that the parent tray doesn't hold all drinks, but it does hold a regular coffee or pop in the middle of three cup holders for the parent - and who needs 3 drinks going at once?

After using this stroller - a lot! - I also like that
- it handles really well. No problems with turning or going up over curbs
- it is suprisingly sturdy for such a lightweight thing. We have travelled internationally with this stroller, and even airline storage didn't phase it.
- it is light and folds up easily and relatively compactly. No probs for getting in and out of a car trunk - and I am a bit of a wimp :)
- it has a huge storage basket. I pack this full when I am errand running ... and in the meantime I can leave stuff in there between trips.

The only con I can think of is that the padding doesn't all come off for washing ... but that is true of many strollers.
