A grounding and centering practice

This is a wonderful practice for yoginis of all levels who want a relaxing, rejuvinating and grounding experience. Rainbeau Mars in an excellent instructor who brings her wisdom and serenity to this video. Her cuing is perfect. You won't even need to look at the screen to move into each posture. She encourages you to work at you own level, and coaxes you into a deep level of relaxation.
The practice itself is 30 minutes. You are guided through a series of stretches first on one side of the body, and then on the other. The entire practice is done in a seated position, mainly in a crossed legged position, except at the end when you move into a straight legged pose, and then final relaxation. Each part of the body is stretched and relaxed. There is an especially good shoulder and hip opening sequence.
I have used this video during many stages of my personal practice. When I do it in the morning, it helps me to get centered and prepared for the day. When I do it in the evening, it helps me to unwind and release the stress and tension I've accumulated. I recommend this video to anyone and everyone whether or not you do yoga on a regular basis, or even at all!
