Author's Review
This is a AWESOME yoga DVD.
This workout is 30 minutes long, but the DVD offers a 15-minute bonus meditation for balancing the chakras.
Rainbeau does all the moves outside, and alone. While she demonstrates the more advanced versions of the poses, she does make mention of both modifications and the use of props to make the poses easier.
She also incorporates a few mudras, and talks a little about the philosophy/spiritual side of yoga.
Her voice, coupled with the sounds of the ocean and gentle music track are very soothing/relaxing.
All the moves are done from a seated position on the floor.
At the end of the workout, you feel very relaxed.
If you watch through the credits, you can see Rainbeau in a variety of jaw-dropping advanced postures.
The meditation is just that - a meditation. You don't do any yoga poses. Rainbeau talks you through the entire process of grounding, and then working with the chakras and their respective colors. This is a fantastic meditation, and is done in 15 minutes!
I give this DVD 5 stars! I recommend it to those who've never tried yoga and are interested, as well as, yogini's of all levels!
