Rowenta Steam Generator $200 iron

The Bottom Line: An investment in an iron that is this high should have quality service centers and customer support from the company (Rowenta). Service is a major deal breaker.
Review: I purchased a Rowenta steam generator iron about four years ago for $200. It is the one with the container for 1/2 gal of water. I do a lot of ironing at one time, though not very often. The iron is used about once a month.

The Bottom Line: Customer satisfaction is not there priority, if your fortunate you end up enjoying an over priced iron. If you need service, your on your own (insult for a $100 iron).

heavy work horse

The Bottom Line: Don't buy one!! Buy 3 name-brand cheaper irons for the same price as a Rowenta. You'll probably be ironing 10 years longer for the same cost.

Beat using my old B&D

Disappointing over time

The Bottom Line: I would recommend it to someone who perhaps has minimal ironing to do or someone who needs a very powerful iron that is willing to replace it frequently.
