Love It

Your friend, his friend, and the dude walking next to you at the mall has the Submariner. The GMT II is very nice and I seriously considered buying it, but it still clobbers you over the head saying "ROLEX!!"

The Explorer II, on the other hand, is more subtle. It's classy. It's unique. You don't see everyone and their uncle wearing one. It's sporty and conservative at the same time, yet it is still a Rolex in every sense of the word.

I own the black-face and it's just as wearable with a suit or with jeans. It's a little slimmer than that GMT II so it fits better with dress shirts. It's my go-everywhere do-everything watch.
