DON'T BUY IT

The Bottom Line: Waste of money, its cheaper to hire a lawyer
I tried finding a review for it before Christmas, but being short on time, I bought it anyway. BIG MISTAKE.
RM claims (and charges) for a top of the line radar/laser detector and jammer. Neither of them works. How do I know? I can send you a copy of my ticket. Line of sight, straight reading, the detector slept right through the entire traffic stop. Let me say that again: forget the jammer, not even the detector beeped.
In CITY mode, you don't get any alerts.
In HIGHWAY mode, it suddenly gets over zealous and gets alarmed at everything from a passing squirrel to a suspicious looking tree. In the beginning (when I was still under the innocent assumption that a 300 dollar detector works) I was braking so often, my head was bobbing back and forth like I was some crazed hip hop junkie. After a couple of days and a bad headache, I moved it to CITY. It was a smooth ride all the way to traffic hearing.
Since then I have been paying attention. The freaking thing wont bark unless the cop is within the line of sight of an old woman with Urkel's glasses. I can see it very well at that point too, thank you very much. I don't need a 300 dollar piece of junk to tell me about it.
If anyone has any idea how to get at least some of my money back, please let me know!!!
In the meantime stay away from an expensive mistake
