Appears to be disposable

Today we attempted to use our new Rival SCVP609 6-Quart Slow Cooker for the FIRST time. Approximately 6-hours into the 10-hour cooking time (using the preset 10-hour low setting), we heard a loud crack. Unsure if the noise came from the cooker or not, we allowed the meal to continue to cook for the full 10-hours. The meal it prepared was wonderful, but sure enough it was the pot that cracked. It was a hairline crack, but large enough that juices from the meal did leak below the pot. We’ll be taking it back to Target as soon as the family member who gave it to us as a Christmas present mails us the receipt.
