The Bottom Line: ";I Used to Love H.E.R."; alone makes this a classic Hip Hop album. The rest of the great tracks on Resurrection are just icing on the cake.

Common Begins to Show How Much He Loves H.E.R. (200th review)

The Bottom Line: Sounding more like a debut than a sophomore effort, Resurrection marked the beginning of Common's journey as one of hip-hop music's highest-esteemed ambassadors
Review: I guess some growth can be made – in less than two years.

Already the rapper that put Chicago – and by extension, the Midwest - on the hip-hop map (apart from Twista), Common was at the precipice of setting his legacy in the hip-hop world...
