A great magazine for all women.

I am a mother of two children and most of the magazines I subscribe to are parenting/baby related. I was looking for a magazine just for me and have found that in Redbook.

First of all, the subscription price per year could not be beat. Twelve bucks for twelve issues. I like the fact that their articles are geared towards the working woman, the married woman, the single woman and even mothers. Of course there is the fashion and beauty articles which are great. This is a sophisticated magazine without going over the edge. The makeup and beauty tips are for those of us who don't want to look like an overmade model. The same goes for the clothing. Most of the clothes I would wear and none of them are the "strange and bizzare" fashions that you see in other magazines that make you wonder "who really wears this stuff?!?!?"

A couple of my favorite features are "Red in the Face" which readers send in their most embarrasing moments in life. I sometimes flip through to this section first and get a laugh each time. Another particular favorite of mine is Red Alert ob/gyn because there is some great information in these articles. Sometimes you may have a question that you may be too bashful to ask your dr. and this can be a great source of information. Other great sections are Love & Marriage, Health & Fitness, News & Features, Celebrities, Beauty, Fashion & Style, Kids and Food. As you can see, there is something for EVERY woman in this magazine.
