Author's Review
I just got this product from Value Village. The base and the headphones from seperate places of the same shop. When took it home, I was not even sure whether each part were from the same category or work with each other. To complicate matters it didn't had a power supply. Well.. electronics was a hobby from early ages, and I can piece things together, and that gave me enough confidence to blow $8.00 in total. Only clue I had that , it (base and headphones)was from the same company RCA, I know a transmitter when I see one, and like wise for a receiver headphones. Now comes the part prompted this review. I read some very bad reviews, because, I was searching for a manual to get a fair idea of what voltage this item uses. I don't know from where, but I read somewhere in between
and read that this item uses 19V DC and charges its headphones. It was all the information needed to figure this thing out. Long story short, I am using this now, god know why, somebody dumped it, and I am really happy that I took it with me. Absolutely no problems. Audio is crisp. Any negative comments, may have arised from the tuning difficulties, those people may have faced, because this item comes with 2 tuners, one on the Headphones and the other on the Transmitter. Need to fine tune both for the best results. The stereo effect is also perfect.
