Author's Review
Several years ago, Quest 64 was released on the N64. It was the first RPG for the system, and had a unique battle system. That is where Brian, the main character of the game (and Quest Fantasy Challenge), made his first appearance. Brian is a young magician. He has the powers to control the four elements of the earth: Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth. Quite impressive. But, back to Fantasy Challenge.
For the gameboy color, this game has the potential to become addictive. The objective is to collect all the gems in each stage, which becomes quite challenging.
This challenge gets old fast, however. You find that you lose lives faster than you lose socks, and that's pretty quick. I've owned the game for several months, and the longest game I have played was about 15 minutes. Not an upside. Though, I suppose if you get really into the game, you can play for a much longer time.
I'm not much of a puzzle game person, so it didn't fit me. But, if you like the classic 'Dig-Dug' game for Nintendo, you will love this.
