Another "Non-stick" that sticks

Looks great. But, unless you spray the grids with oil, the waffles stick. We purchased the unit, followed the instructions to season the "non-stick" grids, and the waffles immediately stuck. If you spray the grids, you lose the darker, crisper exterior.

We have found that all of the current crop of waffle irons made in China have the same cheap, "non-stick" grids that don't work. The only hope for waffle irons is that T-Fal (French made) will finally make a traditional waffle iron. Their non-stick technology is the real thing.

Don't buy the Presto waffle iron.
