POKEMON!

Ok, here we are faced with another Pokémon item. I'm not one to run around collecting the stupid cards or plopping myself down in front of the TV every day at the time it airs here on the WB. But i have to say when I sat down the watch the movie with my younger brother who loves to watch the show I really enjoyed the movie and thought that the moral (yes a childrens movie with an actual moral to it) was satisfactory as far as I was concerned. I don't know how many of you actually got the whole moral but let me tell you what the subject of that moral was. Prejudice.

Ok, now that i have said that here we go. The place I get this from is that thoughout the whole movie Mew Two the big bad one is really upset about why he was created and for some strange reason hates the Pokémon that was used to create him, Mew (the cute little one who just is here to have fun) Well Mew Two decides to rid the world of humans and naturally born Pokémon by using his powerful psychic abilities to create a huge storm. Well he invites who he thinks are the most powerful Pokémon trainers to the island he has inhabited so he can clone the Pokémon that they have trained to be the best. Well when the Pokémon start getting into the fighting the humans realize that Mew Two is totally wrong about how he sees the world because he was used. As the fight climaxes Ash (the star) tries to stop the battle by throwing himself between Mew and Mew Two as they blast away at each other. now for those who could care more or less about what happens keep going, for anybody who hasn't seen the movie and is planning on it stop here.


Ok. So because of his foolishness Ash dies from the blast. Here we see Mew Two is totally baffled at this behavior considering the first thing Pikachu does is run over and try to shock Ash back to life hoping he is just knocked out. Well then Pikachu feels that he lost his best friend and starts to cry. This of course makes all of the Pokémon cry and some little magic happens and Ash is returned to life. Mew realizes that even though Ash is human and uses Pokémon battles, he cares for them as much as they care for him. And even though the clone were different form the natural Pokémon they still felt sorry for Pikachu for losing his best friend. Mew Two learns that everyone is the same and some are all around good people even though they are different.
