Good cd player

I owned a DEH-3000 cd player until it got stolen last week...punks. I had virtually no problems with it until right before it got jacked. My cd player started to make some clanking noises and wouldn't read the cd player. I'm not too sure as to what it was, but it sure was annoying. Other than that I loved this cd player. I loved the eq controls. I liked how I could not only control the lows, mids, and highs, but I could also control the frequencies. Now that I liked, and the best part was the player itself was inexpensive. I had a crossfire CFA-202, and a JL Audio 10W0 hooked up to this cd player, both of which were also take...errrr. And the cd player handled it magnificently. I was able to achieve 130db with my one 10in sub which was getting 200 watts. I feel that this cd player did a great job in the fine tuning of the frequencies and loudness of the componets. When I hit 130db's that was good enough for a second place trophy. I would recommend this cd player to anyone. I never did use the alarm that came with the cd player, but from what I have heard from friends, its pretty good. I think now that I have had everything stolen I'm going with an Eclipse cd player, but that isn't a dis to the pioneer. I'm a hard cookie to please when it comes to car audio and this cd player pleased me.
