Full, Rich Sound and Clever Design For Under Thirty Bucks

Date of Review:  Dec 4, 2006
The Bottom Line: Great big sound, tiny little headphones.
Review: For over a year now, my headphones of choice have been the Philips HE-592 set. For as little as $15 now (at Wal-Mart), these headphones deliver clear, crisp sound and amazing three-dimensional recreation of your favorite music. I ve actually been...

Good sound, fair price, cord a bit of an issue

Date of Review:  Oct 16, 2007
The Bottom Line: These are a great alternative to more expensive headsets/ earbuds. I would recommend these to anyone that doesn't have $200 to spend on earbuds.
Review: About three years ago, after going through quite a few different pairs of headphones/ earbuds to find a set that was comfortable and good quality without being hundreds of dollars, I settled on a pair of Koss sparkplug earbuds. The first set I had...

Uncomfortable with good sound quality

Date of Review:  Apr 29, 2008
The Bottom Line: Not worth buying, try a different set of headphones.
Review: These headphones were selected with hopes for good quality and comfortable wear at a reasonable price. I paid about $25, so at that price I figured the headphones should be acceptably decent.

The sound quality is just that. The music comes...

Very nice earbuds - well worth the price.

Date of Review:  Dec 11, 2008
The Bottom Line: Durable earphones that are on the cheaper side, and sound great. Money well spent.
Review: I've been reviewing different sets of headphones & earphones for a while now. Why? Because I am notorious for destroying my headphones quickly. Cheap ones, expensive ones, moderately priced ones - you name it, I break it. I've been seeing these in...

You get what you pay for...

Date of Review:  Jan 24, 2009
The Bottom Line: Stay away from Philips headphones as a hole-these are barely worth $30, the audio is horrific, muddled, and nasty; perfect for the poor construction.
Review: There are so many reviews everywhere talking about how you can get $100 sound out of a $30 headphone, noticeably referring to these Philips headphones. However, I'd beg to differ. Philips has never really had a great note as far as headphones...

A comfortable alternative to Apple's earbuds

Date of Review:  Jul 21, 2008
The Bottom Line: If you need a pair of comfortable, sonically neutral earbuds that won't break the bank, buy these.
Review: Over the years with several ipods, I've come to really dislike the earbuds that come with the Apple ipod product. While sonic quality is reasonable, the hard plastic shape of the drivers is no longer tolerated well by my ears.

When I'm...

I HATE these headphones!!!

Date of Review:  Nov 19, 2008
The Bottom Line: There are other brands, very similar and close to the same price. Choose one of them. I was happy with Sony.
Review: Phillips In-ear headphones - SHE9500

The sound is fine but the cord isn't a small issue, it's a HUGE issue.

I bought these because they appeared to be comparable to my last ones but I couldn't have been more wrong. I use them for...
