A great one to give or get

The first thing that attracted me to this camera was the price. My boyfriend wanted a camera and I'm a tight-wad. After comparing all of the cameras in my price level I finally decided on this one. Why? This camera has many of the features of the more expensive models, but is extremely affordable. Another plus it that it makes very little noise. We got it to photograph some wildlife on our farm and the Zoom makes almost no noise at all.
Another great feature is that this camera is very durable. The outer black plastic shell is slightly textured and helps you hold on when your hands are wet or cold.
Probably the best feature of all is the lock feature. The camera strap's adjustor is a lock for the battery compartment. This is very good at our house where little people may be prone to taking the batteries or film.
We haven't had any problems with the camera and Pentax seems to have made an exceptional product.
