Not as advertised, but not that bad

The Bottom Line: I recomend paying a little more, for better quality. I returned mine for a JVC, which is an all around better camera, for only $3 more (after rebate).
Review: The Panasonic PV-GS12 is a very nice looking little camera. It fit perfectly into my hand and all the controls were easy to operate single handedly.
The camera is very small and lightweight and the LCD is clear.

Very good, very small, quite affordable

The Bottom Line: I recommend the PV-GS12 to anyone who hasn't a lot of money to throw around but needs an intelligent, yet easy-to-use video camera that can be carried around (almost) anywhere.

Short-lived Piece of Junk

Review: Wish I spent $50 more for the comparable Sony. After a year of light usage, it is constantly requiring one to hit the Reset button to start. If you don't, it will not shut off unless you pull the battery.

decent little camcorder

Review: After looking at Digital 8 and MiniDV's my husband I I chose this one. All you need to hook it up to your PC is a Firewire cable (not included) and you can use most video editing software that is available. Not bad for the price.
