Product Review

Really disappointing.

by   westdesigns ,   Dec 8, 2007

Pros:  Nice to have just one machine under the TV.

Cons:  Difficult to program. DVD section failed after only 15 months.

Overall Rating: 1/5 stars

Author's Review

I bought it at Sam's Club about 15 months ago for $300. At the time it was the best DVD recorder / VHS on the market. Programming it was never easy. Now it doesn't work because it can't read DVDs. The self-test at power up fails. There seem to be a lot of these on eBay that are sold "as is" that have exactly the same problem. It will probably be much less expensive to buy a new machine than to get it repaired.
