When Panasonic says "Up Your Nose", they mean it!
Pros:
Small , light, has a built in LED and works on 1 battery!
Cons:
Not a large cutting area, needs really fresh batteries, needs repetitive motion to cut!
The Bottom Line:
These Panasonic units are pretty popular, but you should be aware of the negatives prior to purchasing it. It is not exactly inexpensive, and it works okay!

Author's Review
Well, here I am writing about a nose/ear hair trimmer. Not exactly my usual stuff like flat screen TV's and stereo's, but important none the less. For those of us who show nasal hair, or have those annoying hairs growing on our ears, it is a necessity!
This unit is a step-up from their original unit, since they included a bright white LED on the trimmer. It is supposed to help you see the work area a lot better, but I have not found that to be true. The LED has to be positioned just the right way to shine where you need it!
The trimmer has a small revolving blade at the end of a spinning shaft, under a cover. It is easy to clean with the cover off, and can be rinsed in water. It has an on/off switch and a compartment for a single AA battery. That's pretty much it.
I've found from a few months of use that it works well. Is it a great unit that I would give 5 stars to, no! Due to the small cutting area I have found that sometimes it doesn't trim all the hair it is supposed to, and is a little difficult to position to trim ear hair. The end piece where the trimmer is can not be called a large area. It is tiny and must be positioned just the right way to work correctly. I have found that to trim nasal hair you have to go back and trim the same area a few times. A one time cut is just not enough.
There is one oddball problem I have found with this trimmer. It works with a single AA battery. When I received the unit, I put in a brand new battery, and it did not run. I went back to the box and installed another new AA battery, and still nothing. I checked the batteries on a battery tester and they were good. I figured I had a defective unit. Finally I thought about trying yet another battery from another box, and this time it worked fine! The problem was the other batteries registered good, but just did not have the voltage needed to run the trimmer. You MUST use a brand new battery with full power or the unit will appear to be defective. All the batteries in one box of 8 batteries would not work, while one from a fresher box purchased more recently worked fine, so a word to the wise!
So there you have it. A Panasonic trimmer that works okay, but first consider its limitations before purchasing it. There may be a better brand with a better cutting area or blade, so shop around. If you do decide to purchase this one, just remember the negatives!
