Disappointing picture...

When I went to the showroom my heart was set on buying the Sony Wega. After talking to the salesrep I decided to take the Panasonic home. The salesrep said the Panasonic had a stronger tube and the sound is better then the Sony.
After taking the big boy home and setting it up I was was surprised how strong the colors were, a huge improvement over my 10 year old Mitsubishi that it replaced. The picture contrast is so strong to a point that the peoples teeth look like everybody just stepped out of a bright smile commercial! To make matters worse there is no contrast adjustment on this set. We played with it for a week and decided to take it back. We are now proud owners of a Sony Wega and we love the picture!
