Good But Not Perfect

Date of Review:  Oct 19, 2006
The Bottom Line: I do not regret my purchase of the Treo 700W thus far it has proved it can compete with the other Smartphone?s and do so in style.
Review: Like most people who work in the computer field I carry a PDA and a separate cell phone. Carrying both especially when you are on call 24x7 becomes a necessity. I entered into my last dell phone contract with Cingular Wireless, now a part of AT&T,...

The Treo Gets A Make Over

Date of Review:  Jul 15, 2006
The Bottom Line: Can't go wrong with a Treo.
Review: I ve been a long time Treo Smartphone user, having had the 600 and 650 models for the past 4 years. PalmOne recently released their latest version, the Treo 700p, which I ve had since the very first day it came out. For those of you that are...

Excellent "Road Warrior" Tool

Date of Review:  Feb 12, 2006
The Bottom Line: Cool business tool. Great phone and very solid email access. In other words, does it's primary job extremely well.
Review: In a recent review I described my woes with the Samsung i730. I switched to this phone specifically because of it. Let me start with the bad news. I don't think it's possible for ANY manufacturer to create the perfect phone, but if anybody comes...

The New Treo with Windows: Product convergence has raised our expectations

Date of Review:  Feb 3, 2006
The Bottom Line: This is a well integrated Phone/PDA packaged in an attractive and practical form factor. It does my big four(Phone, Internet, Calendar, Contacts)very well.
Review: Introduction

The Treo 700W is a new generation Windows Mobile handset from Palm released for use on the Verizon CDMA/EVDO network. It is both a handheld and a mobile phone and it walks the thin line nicely if you can tolerate using the...

phone of the future!!!

Date of Review:  Apr 19, 2006
The Bottom Line: This is the perfect office companion phone/PDA hybrid. You will not be disappointed at the marriage of PALM treo and MS Windows Mobile 5.0
Review: I recently gave up an XV6600 for a new device. After looking at several devices I narrowed my search between two pda phones from Verizon (my carrier), The XV6700 and the Treo 700w.

I chose the 700W and have no regrets. What follows is a...

Treo 700p: a MAJOR dissapointment

Date of Review:  Aug 7, 2007
The Bottom Line: Skip to the Treo 750, or another smart phone, this one is just not worth it.
Review: I have been a long time Treo User starting with the the Treo 270, 600, 650 and now the 700p. I have never felt so ripped off by a phone purchase since I started using smartphones 8 years ago.

The Treo 700p is faster than the Treo 650 only...

Disappointing device

Date of Review:  Jul 20, 2007
The Bottom Line: DON'T, unless you are technically savvy. Technophobes will hate it. Be prepared to shell out more $$ once you own it.
Review: I am disappointed by the Treo 700p. I bought the device in June 2007, and now (late July 2007) I am on my THIRD phone. There are clear quality issues with these phones, in addition to everything else.

The first phone wouldn't "beam", and...

Mixed so far

Date of Review:  Oct 22, 2006
The Bottom Line: Generally good; frustrating that they missed some easy fixes. Hard stuff is easy, easy stuff hard. It might be the best PDA selection out there, but not at all intuitive.
Review: I upgraded from the 600 (not the 650) to the 700p. I am not especially tech savvy, and don't wish to be. I primarily use this as my calendar, need the phone and like having the photo, camcorder, texting and emergency Internet surfing features.

Treo 700P: Mystery In An Expensive Box

Date of Review:  Dec 28, 2006
The Bottom Line: Buy it if you want a device to run your life or business. Just be prepared to spend a lot more money.
Review:
After reading literally dozens of alleged 'reviews' both before and after my purchase of the Treo 700P I have come to two conclusions. My first conclusion is that most of the initial and current reviews on the phone have been written by people...

Unreliability meets utter frustration

Date of Review:  May 5, 2007
The Bottom Line: LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP IN TO A PDA. PDA'S ARE WONDERFUL IF YOU FIND THE RIGHT ONE. I DID NOT FIND THE RIGHT ONE.
Review: Buying the Palm Treo 700p was confusing at the store. So much to choose from with different options and functions. I bought this product to help me organize my life and my daily routine. I use it mostly for the calendar, tasks, and web access. I...
