Shane revisited

I picked this movie up mainly because I love westerns, but secondly, because Clint Eastwood is so cool. I really liked it a lot, enough to add it to my "favorite movies ever" list.

I love the story line here. It really is almost identical to the early western story by Schaefer, Shane. Eastwood comes in to save the gold diggers from the big bad industrial gold diggers. I love the ending shoot out scene. It's just about the best one in all of movie-dom (is there such a thing).

This is a must see for western lovers. I also like The Outlaw Josie Wales, Few More Dollars, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly... and many other Eastwood films, but this is my favorite.
