The Bottom Line: This subwoofer is perfect for smaller homes or apartments. It looks, feels, and sounds like a subwoofer costing at least twice as much.

For $99, this is spectacular

The Bottom Line: Don't let the less than perfect scores fool you. Better (and vastly pricier) subs are available, but this is unbeattable for its size and modest price.
Review: I purchased this sub a couple of weeks ago at Circuit City on a one-day half-price promotion. The sale price was $99. I purchased a very similar Polk Audio subwoofer one or two years ago on Black Friday for the same price.
