This is a great choice

Pros: heavy with non-slip rubber feet, lid has a really tight seal, does not leak

Cons: the cord could be a little longer

My husband and I did some research on different brands of blenders and this particular one passed all the tests. It is very heavy and does not slip at all when using it. The lid actually has a built-in measuring cup. We found that the blades are very sharp and quickly accomplish the job.
Even though it only has on, off and pulse, we found that that is all we needed and this blender does a great job.
We would definitely recommend it.
