Spartan yet elegant: Form follows function

The Bottom Line: Pair it with a good source, and this amplifier will deliver fine stereo sound without forcing you to get a home-equity loan.
Review: [First update: August 2, 2005] If the sound ramps up very slowly at the beginning of a recording, you can miss the first few seconds. Ergo the signal-detection circuit seems not to be especially sensitive.

Great amp

Review: Bought this amp to power some Definitive StudioMonitor 350's and it pushes them effortlessly and never gets hot. The sound quality is especially good for an amp in this price range. I am using a Denon receiver as a PreAmp only thanks to this amp.
