The Bottom Line: Not the best album by far of an illustrious career, One Hot Minute proves to be buyable for dedicated fans only.
Review: The Red Hot Chili Peppers have had their share of ups and downs. The ups usually involved making great music. The downs always revolve around heroin.

Music Is My Aeroplane

The Bottom Line: One Hot Minute could use some more RHCP funkiness, but they make up for it with excellent rock.
Review: The Red Hot Chili Peppers had a tough assignment: create a successful follow up to their huge smash, Blood Sugar Sex Magik. Many say they failed, but I see One Hot Minute as a very good album that just couldn?t live up to its predecessor.
