Wonderful sporty family car

Pros: Excellent power, fit, finish, ride and value

The Bottom Line: If you don't want to drive a bland/nuetered car (Camrys/Accords) but want their reliability/fit/finish and MORE power to beat them from a stop light-the Maxima is 4 U

I purchased a used 2002 Maxima SE 6 speed with cloth interior for $17,000. Car only has 20,000 miles on it. Very smooth compared to my 95 and 99 Maixmas I previously owned. Torque is plentiful and gets up to 80 mph quickly. Also I noticed there is no speed limiter on this car as I got it up to 135 mph (accd to speedo) in 5th gear on a stretch of empty road.

Lots of room in the car and ride is plush for a sporty, good handling car. Love the 17" wheels and the easy to read dash layout. Also like the computer which tells me mpg avg speed, outside temp, etc... Also nice is the steering wheel controls.

Cars fit and finish easily on par with Accord, Camry. But features are on par with an Avalon, Acyra, Infiniti. This is a Best buy/best "bang for your buck" as well as the new 2003 left overs due to the $1500 incentives. Was quoted $21500 NEW for a base auto 2003 SE.
