Author's Review
The typical Maxima- stylish, loaded, fun to drive, and reliable. I don't remember the trim level i had on this particular car but it was the one with everything imaginable. It even impressed me (and i see so many cars everyday it takes quite a bit for them to stand out).
What did i like about it? Hell, what isn't there to like? I bought this car about 6 months ago from the 2nd owner (the 1st owner was the 2nd's father). I've always loved this body style for some reason (even though i tend to steer more towards sleek, sporty, aggressive lines). What really excited me about it was the leather, sunroof, Bose sound system, heads up display, digital dash, digital climate control system, ride control suspension, ECT power/economy, all the power options...i could go on forever. It put most modern cars to shame.
Some noticable annoyances- the back seat head rests fade- BAD. Luckily i had vast amounts of leather conditioner which fixed it right up. Second, and this may just be from the previous owner and not typical, the back seat came unhooked from its anchors along the back dash. I think it was due to the heat of the black interior that caused the plastic hooks to warp/crack on the metal loops. Third, previous owner said that motor was replaced (my estimate is at about 40k or so). I never figured out why but it still drove perfect.
Overall, this is a great car and hard to find in great condition and fully loaded. If given the opportunity- grab it.
