Pros: Accessories, Some of the Best Games Ever, Classic
Cons: Controller, Blowing Into The Console, Not Being Manufactured Anymore
The Bottom Line: If you know what the Powerglove is, or have seen the movie "The Wizard" than you rock.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The 80s is a decade that everyone has a story about. Looking back on the vague memories I have of it, everything seemed so different. If I had any wish in the world I think I would wish to have been born 10 years earlier just so I could experience...

Pros: the games, the memories!, came with 2 controllers, it was sturdy
Cons: poorly designed controller buttons, cartridge part is awkward, outdated hardware, expensive games and accessories
The Bottom Line: I had a hard time paying for the games when I was little, and now they're getting to be almost as expensive.

Review: "... they stand on the shoulders of giants"
Many of the advancements in gaming consoles are due to the success of the Nintendo Entertainment System or NES. While Atari 2600 was the father of the home unit, the NES was the prodigal... |

Pros: Graphics at the time, Great Games, Works Most of the Time, Controllers
Cons: Sometimes non-cooperative, old
The Bottom Line: I love the NES console, as it has a lot of games, and is fun to play. Its a family oriented video game system.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: My family's first video game system, was the Magnavox Odyssey, which my father purchased sometime in the early 1980's. I still remember playing the bowling game with him, that alternated between blue and green screens, depending on which...

Pros: The Nes2 not only looks cool but it plays well too.
Cons: It's a shame the video outlets are gone.
The Bottom Line: It may be a tough find but the Nes2 is definitely worth tracking down.

Pros: Great exclusive games; fun and simple gaming; the top loader is a durable system
Cons: The common front loader is troublesome; a lot of terrible games
The Bottom Line: Perhaps the only early console more significant than the Atari 2600 is the NES, a great system from the 1980s that remains popular.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Those folks over at Nintendo sure knew what they were doing when they released the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) to the U.S. in 1985. This console showed up at just the right time as the video game market was still reeling from the crash of...

Pros: a lot of classic games
Cons: got to kick box it to get it to work.
The Bottom Line: The Nintendo WI: probably the craziest name for a console
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: All right if there is one thing I can t stand is young kids today running down the NES. Yes your PS2 s and your Xbox s may be more powerful and run all those fancy movie scenes and realistic graphics, something that the NES doesn t but if it wasn t...

Cons: Had to blow on games and console when not working
The Bottom Line: I would get it, this system is a classic

Review: I probably received this as a gift in the early nineties, but I still play it. I believe that a lot more went into this console as far as games strategy, game plot, game characters and game skill. The only thing that was bad about it was that when...

Pros: Fun for everyone, cheap games, brings back those days of long ago!
Cons: Sometimes you need to wrestle with the games to get them to play.
The Bottom Line: Still the most fun game system out there. Classics like Mario, Contra, Zelda, Metroid, Donky Kong, and Excitebike come back to life!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: You can be sure that the NES is still played almost every weekend by my friends and me. We all grew up on this wonderful machine, and have no intentions of letting it pass. While the performance of the NES is getting worse, just a blow on the...
