Great family or party game!

We rented this game because we wanted to make sure we liked it before we bought it. It definitely is a winner and we plan on adding this to our wii game collection.

The best way to start is by going though Cranky's lessons. It takes you through different lessons teaching you how to use your remote and nunchuck combo during gameplay. This helps tremendously, if you just jump right in you won't know what the heck you are doing.

This game is a ton of fun in multi-player mode. Playing against one another is much more fun than playing against the computer. Of course it still is fun in solo play, but it really shines as a multi-player game.

We were laughing so hard as we played this game, though the first few times you don't really know what you are doing, but then you kind of work into it.

Another plus, it's a good workout. You really have to keep moving if you want to win the race. You have to shake your remotes in both hands and swing your arms up to jump. Lots of movement that makes you you look really silly, but that is the fun of it!

Make sure you experiment around with the different characters that you can choose from. I found I did much better when I played using certain characters. I never did well when using Donkey Kong, so see who works best for you.
