Little camera that packs a punch!!!!

My first digital camera purchase and I'm thrilled. I purchased this camera for its abundance of features as well as its ease of use. I was looking for a camera based on a few criterium: 3 megapix or better, size, batteries used, and features on the camera. Well this little guy has it all. Picture quality is excellent (I have had a few pics from this camera professionally finished and have sold them to lawyers and doctors to hang in their offices!!!) I like the fact that it uses 2 AA batteries--no matter where I travel I know I can find these batteries--I bought some rechargeable batteries that have saved me a lot of $$$. I have no complaints. I'm an avid outdoorsman so the size is perfect for what I need--compact. I bought a 512 MB SD card to go with it. On the highest resolution I can take about 650 pics.

The software that comes with the camera is great!!! It has a program which allows you to combine pics into a panoramic shot after using the panoramic mode on the camera. This software combined with the panoramic feature on the camera have been my money maker. Definately my favorite feature.

My friends have purchased this same camera and love it as well. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

As a side note, I would purchase the Nikon case that is made for this camera. I purchased a Lowe-Pro and the camera doesn't fit very well--It slides around a lot.
