This camera gets picked on!!!

Ladies and Gentleman, this camera is not an F5. One should not expect to feel or act like one. It's Nikon's low cost "My First SLR" type of camera. It fits its role very well.

I bought his camera on an impulse. I'm glad I did. I got it off of Ebay with the standard zoom lens for 120 dollars. So far, I've only run black and white film through it and the results have been fantastic.

Many reviews I have read about the FM10 use words like cheap, light duty " Nikon should be a shamed" and other negatives. I must disagree with all of them. My FM10 has been dropped, used in the rain and snow, left in my hot car for days and other such equipment abuses. It just keeps right on clicking away.

I like the fact that all Nikon lens made since the beginning of time fit on it,but be careful. Not all nikon lenses will work with it. Make sure your intended lens has an aperture adjustment ring. No ring, no work on FM10.

All in all, I love this little camera. Once I find a good used 28 to 200 manual lens, it will be the perfect low cast system. One day I'll have to run some color film thru it.
