Cube is tha' Friday night prime time!

My date and I went and saw Next Friday on a Friday and I was pleased. It was one of them blind dates so Ice Cube had to come through for a brotha'! It was down right hilarious from the beginning to the end. The cast consisted of the most prominent and funny black comedian actors to pull this film off. One thing that was surprising to me was the comedic performance of Ice Cube. With his dipping brows and his intimidating stock build, he managed to be one of the funniest characters in the movie. My date and I had a blast laughing through out the entire movie. It's true nothing brakes the ice like some good geniune laughter. I did think, however, that the show really needed at least a few scenes of "Smokey," from the first sequel Friday. Smokey was played by comedian/actor Chris Tucker who was overwhelmingly hilarious in that famous character. I do highly recommend this film to anybody that wants good down to earth humor on the weekend.
