64K Print server buffer is too small. Print jobs abort.

My printer now only prints the first 25% of any print job (test page included). In order to reprint you have to reboot the print server only to get another partial print. What a pain in the you know what.

Make sure your printer is approved by Netgear before buying this product. My Epson Stylus Photo R300 was on their list. There are two versions of the PS121 (My part number is the PS121NA on the box, Which is the PS121v1. The newer version is the PS121v2.)

First, I work in Information Technology and have lots of experience with enterprise class print servers retailing for well over $400. They work great and flawlessly. Although I did not expect the exact same performance from a $29 (after rebates) product, I did expect to print flawlessly at least 75% of the time. All I have is a pile of garbage partial prints. I have tried various print configurations as suggested by Netgear's website. I have adjusted the data format, changed the printer port configuration and a couple other things I never dreamed I would be doing when I bought this thing. This is way too complicated for the novice network admin. I would avoid this product like the plague. I would actually go as far as saying be weary of all USB print servers if you have a all-in-one printer unless you are certain they are compatible. I would just bite the bullet and buy a more expensive all-in-one printer with the USB server built-in. That way you can be certain the two devices are compatible. Additionally, the technically challenged in your household will not be upset with you when they can't print, AGAIN!
