Beautiful watch for that special someone

I know this review might be hard to do, as how do you compare watches, it either works or it does not. Watches are extremely personal and hard to buy for other people. With that being said, this watch is one of the nicest looking watches I have ever seen. Some watches out there are so full of stuff (like altimeters,depth gauges,timers,ect) that it becomes hard to just read the time off of it. The face of this watch is so simplistic that it is elegant, and functional at the same time.

The construction of the watch is solid, being made by a company that has been in the business for a very long time. They are swiss made, so they are among the highest quality watches that compete with watches such as rolex, gucci,ect. the crystal front is a sapphire crystal, which makes it hard to scratch. The rest of the watch is made with polished stainless steel, which gives it the refined look. the 2-tone gold on the band also enhances the elegance and overall look of the watch. Also, on the band, there is a new version of a fastener to keep the watch on your wrist. It works kind of like a chain clasp. there are 2 pieces that fold into the middle and fasten onto 4 claws that keep it together. I kind of compare it to a reverse bear trap. It is a very interesting design, and hopefully over time, the clasp will still hold strong, but only time will tell.

Like I said earlier, the watch is swiss made, which means thats the movement of the hands is smooth and quiet. It comes in a funky looking leather case, which you could use as a display for it when you are not wearing it. All movado watches come with a limited 2 year warranty, which covers the timepiece from defects. It also comes with a limited 5 year warranty that covers peeling of finishes and that sort of thing. Buying the watch from a good dealer will also give you lifetime battery replacement for free.

Overall, If you are looking to spoil your man, or if you just want to treat yourself to an early x-mas present (like I did) and you like simple styled watches, then this is definitely one watch to check out.
