More Adventurous - Rilo Kiley

Date of Review:  Aug 26, 2004
The Bottom Line: The best album of 2004, thus far.
Review: Every once and a while you come across a band that is obviously going places. Excitedly, you follow the band a bit too closely and wait for them to break open on a larger scale, though there's a small part of you that wants the band to stay rather...

It's A Hit But There's Some Bad News Too

Date of Review:  Apr 15, 2005
The Bottom Line: It's good enough you should get it despite its flaws.
Review: The first thing you should know about this band is that no, there isn't anyone named Rilo Kiley in this band. It's kinda like Franz Ferdinand. The lead singer is actually named Jenny Lewis, and she has one really sexy voice. I guess Rilo Kiley is a...

Amazing.

Date of Review:  Aug 5, 2005
Review: This album is just absolutely amazing. One of my favorites. Jenny Lewis, one of the few female lead singers out there, has beautiful voice and the instrumental is just as impressive. Her presence dominates throughout the whole album. She sings of...

Does she love you?

Date of Review:  Jun 16, 2005
Review: Although I have not followed Rilo Kiley as closely as other bands, I enjoy this cd. Jenny Lewis has a sexy voice, and Rilo Kiley has a unique sound. The music is very mellow. The lyrics are interesting, unlike what is popular in music today.
