Product Review

Great wrap!

by   a_happy_mama ,   Mar 7, 2008

Pros:  can be made easily or bought, most comfortable sling to wear

Cons:  can be tricky to put on and take off

The Bottom Line:  Great back-friendly wrap! Can be complicated to use, but becomes easy with practice.

Overall Rating: 4/5 stars

Author's Review

I love my Moby Wrap. They can be expensive, or you can easily make your own with about 18 feet of fabric if you sew. I have a Baby Bjorn, and Moby Wrap, and a Hotsling, and by far the Moby is the most comfortable way to wear my baby, and I have a bad back a lot of time. The Hotsling is the most convenient to put on, but hurts my back and shoulder the most, and the Baby Bjorn is about as easy to put on as the Moby Wrap, but hurts my back quite a bit more. You have to make sure you get it wrapped tightly, or it can slip a bit as you are wearing it with your baby. I really like that it can be used from the time your baby is a newborn until they are well into their toddler years. The Moby Wrap website is very helpful in showing and describing how to put it on, as it can seem overwhelming to get this enormously long piece of fabric, but it is actually pretty easy to do once you get the hang of it. I would definitely recommend trying a Moby Wrap if you're looking for a back-friendly sling!
