It has its ups and downs

This burner is a fast one, except it is way too loud but for its price to get this speed it's a compromise for me. Also getting a friend's employee discount and a $20 rebate were convenient. But another thing I wasn't fond of was that I lost all the files I put onto a disk because it didn't tell me that the default format wasn't compatible with my drive and then went ahead and erased the disk. Other than this it's overall a good burner well worth its price
