My favorite car EVER!

Pros: Cheap, Very Reliable, Fun to drive and Great for families.

Cons: Trunk leaks in mine and not very sporty looking

The Bottom Line: If you want a reliable, fun and fast car I definitely recommend this car to everyone especially if you have a family with children.

I have a gray '94 Protege and have had it for about 3 years and I have only had it serviced twice. I had a new radiator put in and a new clutch, but that was only because I wanted it done. I have a standard and I have raced a Honda Civic and beat it coming out of a stoplight. I would have never expected a DX to outrun a Civic but I proved myself and my friends in the other car wrong. I definitely recommend this car to anyone who wants a reliable car that has a very large trunk(which is great for any size stroller or groceries), great engine and for someone who doesn't have the time or money to have it in the shop all of the time. I am planning on getting a new Protege when my car either finally brakes down(it's on 115,000 miles and like brand new) or I decide to sell it. I love Mazdas and will have them whenever I have the chance to purchase one. Good luck and I hope you love your Protege as much as I do.
