We decided to redo our laundry room so why we had the walls down we ran new plumbing for a new washer and dryer. I debated on what washer and dryer to get but decided on the Maytag Epic.
After the service man came and installed them I started doing laundry. AWESOME!!! My clothes came out so clean and smelling so good.
I love all the settings. It has delicate, heavy duty, whitest whites, sanitary, normal, rapid wash, silk, wool, and handwash. Plus it has lots of extras like oxiwash, prewash, and auto soak.
The soap dispenser has seperate compartments for soap, bleach, softner, and oxiwash. Plus the compartment easily comes out to wash, even though I don't think that it will be needed.
I also like that it it has seperate features for just rinsing. If you aren't going to be home when your washer ends and you don't want the laundry setting there partially dry you can use the rinse hold that will run the water to rinse the laundry but won't drain it and spin it so that the laundry will stay wet.
I do like some of the "safety features" that it has as well. You can lock the controls so that little ones can't start it. Also, if it gets too many suds it will automatically kick in and start adding a little water and draining a little out so that it will get rid of the excess suds.
I could not believe how dry the spin cycle gets the close. It really kicks in and spins, unless you chose a low spin speed.
I love my new washer and have had no problems
