King Has Done It Again
Pros:
Interesting and inventful storyline.
Cons:
Too bloody!! I prefer this on TV, not DVD.
The Bottom Line:
Get out the cheese, it is time to watch a Stephen King story-made-movie. Every adult should see this one once.

Yep, King has done it again. Another good story made into a floppy cheesy C-rated movie.
Okay, I have to say, outside of the disgusting amount of blood, this was not too bad. I am a little shocked that Emilio of all people would partake in this one, however. And hearing Lisa Simpson in the whole movie was a bit weird as well.
Overall, the story was not so bad. I had a hard time watching it because it was so bloody. I can handle some blood, but movies like this and Blade just gross me out.
What makes it a good horror flick is that is not not probable or possible. That way, even with all of the blood, gore and death, you know that there is no way you are going to get killed by a machine. So, no bad dreams for those who are easily scared by horror movies.
So this comet passes by the earth, causing machines everywhere to go haywire. Lawnmowers, electric knives and of course, vehicles. It is typical fantasy-horror, something that is not even remotely reality. I guess that makes this movie more fun in many ways than your Freddie and Jason movies. And, there is somewhat of a storyline instead of some crazy guy just going around killing people because he was teased as a kid.
There seems to be one truck in charge of it all. He looks purely evil. I like that the leader has a face, though. The truck itself looks mean and therefore somewhat comes to life. This truck has a personality and in him having one, it gives everything else a personality as well.
There is a lot of AC/DC music in this movie. YUCK!! If you like the band, you will really enjoy the music. LOL!
This movie is not for children.
If you like cheesy horror movies, this one is for you, for sure.
