Man From Snowy River

This is an incredible family movie. It would appeal to both males and females. The Australian scenery is REAL-LIFE beauty, not computer backdrops. The horses and riding of actors keep your attention to the both the peacefulness and drama of the movie. Jim Craig riding his horse down the side of the mountain is breathtaking. The love story is an "added bonus" to my second favorite movie. I have watched this movie at least 75 times since I first saw it at the Movie Theatre (20 years ago). A great movie to have on hand -- for an enjoyable, feel good evening. It's a shame that this movie isn't re-released at movie theatres with TONS of publicity, there are very few GREAT all around movies. Don't forget to get the sequel "Return to Snowy River."
